CITY OF MCKENZIE IS SEEKING BIDS FOR LEASING PARK CONCESSION STAND

The City of McKenzie Parks and Recreation Department is seeking bids for the lease of the concession stand in the City Park. Approximate dates are March through the remainder of the year for all park sports. Lessee must purchase a city business license and carry his/her own liability insurance. A $250 damage and clean up deposit is required at signing of the lease. The lease fee bid will be a dollar amount per operational day. The City will provide electricity, water and current equipment in the concession stand for the Lessee. The concession stand must be open thirty (30) minutes before game time, and remain open until after the last game has been played. Lessee is responsible for payment of all wages, insurance, etc. to its employees. The Lessee and Lessee Employees are in no way employees of the City. Lessee is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in and around the area of the concession stand and for preventive maintenance of the equipment inside the concession stand. All trash and garbage must be removed from the area after each day’s use. The concession stand will be open to the city for inspection as deemed necessary. The City utilizes Pepsi Cola drink products sold in the concession stand therefore; the Lessee must also purchase Pepsi products.
