Our Industrial
Board stays busy working to bring
industry to our town. To attract new
industries and encourage existing plants
to expand, the McKenzie Industrial
Development Board works with interested
companies to obtain state offered
financial assistance. Low interest loans
and grants for structural constructions
are tow examples of this funding. Other
incentives available to industry include
tax relief on property and equipment and
free employee training.
Available Sites
The McKenzie Airport/Industrial Park
is located on Highway 22 between
McKenzie and Huntingdon. The McKenzie
Industrial Development Board has
approximately 168 acres available within
the park. The property is located about
four miles from McKenzie city limits,
directly off four-lane highway 22. The
land is ready for gas, water, and sewer
hook-up. Seven of McKenzie’s major
industries are located within the park.
The Wrinkle property, a tract of 225
acres off of future four-lane Hwy. 79,
is also available for prospective
industries. Both the Airport Industrial
Park and the Wrinkle Property have been
certified by Lockwood Greene as being
“Deal Ready.” This means that the
properties met over 100 of the State’s
critical requirements.
